If you are anything like me, you might be feeling a little bit overwhelmed with all this extra time! I can't believe I am saying it, but I sometimes need a break in the endless day. Luckily, I've discovered a small ritual that really helps me reset and recharge.
Take 15 minutes every day to brew a pot of tea and enjoy it in your very own mini tea ceremony. If you have freshly baked scones or cake at hand to create a full afternoon tea experience, even better!
Just sitting at the table and looking out into the garden refreshes your mind and keeps you thinking positively. It is also nice to take sociable tea breaks by calling up a family member or friend on Zoom, just for those 15 minutes to catch up over a cup of tea. It lifts your spirits, leaving you feeling healthier both physically and mentally. You'll be amazed at how something so seemingly simple can positively shift your whole day.
